My brother, Stevie and I were walking through a popular clothing store during the 2019 Christmas holiday. We started singing and making up little rhymes. Out of nowhere we both came up with “I Bee Doin My Own”. I said “That needs to be on a tee shirt!”

Little did I know that 2 months later COVID-19 would hit. Suddenly, everyone was quarantined at home, doin' their own thing. I went out on my front porch to draw. I found myself creating a friendly, cute bee, with the slogan “I Bee Doin’ My Own” running through my head. It was then & there I knew I wanted to put the bee & slogan on a tee shirt. And the rest is history.
